Microsoft brings xAI Grok models to Azure AI Foundry
At Microsoft Build 2025, Microsoft announced that xAI's Grok 3 and Grok 3 Mini would be available on Azure AI Foundry under the same SLAs, billing, and content safety frameworks as OpenAI models. The announcement extended Foundry to a fourth frontier-lab option (alongside OpenAI, Meta Llama, and Mistral) and broke the perception that Azure was an OpenAI-exclusive frontier-model channel.
